Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
This policy explains what personal information DigiKra (“we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it, how we handle it, and the choices you have. It applies to digikra.com and to the services we provide to our clients.
1. Who we are
DigiKra is a digital growth agency based in India. We help businesses with search visibility, advertising, social media, websites, messaging automation and AI-assisted lead handling. For personal information collected through this website, DigiKra is the data controller.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, message us on WhatsApp, or call or email us, we collect:
- your name and phone or WhatsApp number;
- the services you are interested in;
- any message or business details you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and timestamps. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose errors.
Cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website at the time of writing. If we add analytics or marketing tools in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiry, including by WhatsApp, phone or email.
- To prepare proposals and provide the services you request.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We only send marketing messages to people who have asked to hear from us or have given consent, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Our basis for processing
We process personal information with your consent (for example, when you submit the contact form), to take steps you ask for before entering a contract, to perform a contract, to pursue our legitimate business interests in running a secure and effective website, and to comply with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for the purpose:
- website hosting and delivery providers;
- spreadsheet, storage and email tools used to receive and manage enquiries;
- messaging platforms you choose to contact us on, such as WhatsApp;
- professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, under confidentiality duties.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order or a lawful request from a public authority, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. If our business is ever merged or sold, information may transfer to the successor under this policy.
6. Google services and Google user data
We may use Google products, such as Google Business Profile, to manage business listings, respond to reviews and understand how customers find a business. Where we access Google user data through a Google API on behalf of ourselves or a client, we:
- request only the access needed to provide the feature the account owner has asked for;
- use that data only to provide or improve those user-facing features;
- do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to others except as needed to provide the feature, to comply with law, or with the account owner's consent;
- do not allow people to read it unless they have the account owner's permission, it is needed for security or support, or the law requires it.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Account owners can revoke our access at any time in their Google Account permissions.
7. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for a reasonable period afterwards to manage our business relationship, typically no longer than 24 months from our last contact unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as the engagement lasts and as required by tax and accounting law. We then delete or anonymise the information.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and limiting access to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct or update inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you messages, or withdraw consent you gave earlier;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first and will respond within a reasonable time. You may also raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India or another competent authority.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
This website links to third-party sites and services, including WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Google. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
12. International transfers
Some of our service providers store or process data outside India. Where this happens, we take steps to make sure your information is handled with appropriate safeguards and in line with applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as a notice on this website.
